Eugenio Cazorla, the first attorney to practice immigration law in North Texas and Oklahoma, was born in Spain.  Earning a law degree from Universidad de Sevilla, he began practicing law there in 1948. After moving to the U.S., he completed a Master of Comparative Law in 1959, and a Juris Doctor degree at Southern Methodist University in 1962. The Texas Board of Legal Specialization has certified him in Immigration and Nationality Law since 1979.

Mr. Cazorla is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Federal District Courts in the Northern and Western Districts of Texas. His successful federal court cases are often cited in alien labor certification and suspension of deportation cases.

He has been a member of the Dallas Bar Association since 1964, serving as Chairman of the International Law and Foreign Visitors Committee in 1981 and 1982. As a member of the State Bar of Texas, he served on the Immigration and Nationality Law Advisory Committee for many years. He is also a member of the American Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association, of which he was Chairman of the Texas Chapter in 1978 and member of the Board of Governors in 1980.
